Current Research

Orogenic Exhumation History of the Sierra Nevada, CA using Multi-Mineral Detrital Thermochronology

Ph.D. Primary Thesis

Arizona State University

Advisor: Kip Hodges

My primary project focuses broadly on continental tectonics and the long-term tectonic evolution of the Sierra Nevada, CA through the utilization and development of detrital multi-mineral geo and thermochronology and thermal modelling.

Eruption Dynamics of the Most Recent Post-Caldera Volcanic Eruption from Valles Caldera, NM

Ph.D. Secondary Thesis

Arizona State University

Advisor: Amanda Clarke

My secondary project focuses on investigating eruption dynamics of the 55 ka and most recent explosive deposit (El Cajete pyroclastic deposit) of the resurgent caldera in northern NM, Valles caldera through stratigraphic, petrographic, and granulometric analysis.
